BALLROOM & LATIN DANCE
This is twosome style dancing… BUT … to learn you don’t need your own partner. In these classes you will learn Social Foxtrot, Waltz, Quickstep as well as Cha Cha Cha, Rumba and Jive……(of course not all at once, but over time).
Dancing will help you feel more balanced, confident, coordinated , rhythmical and will help keep you thinking, sharpening your memory whilst keeping you active and fit. Come and meet new friends, learn rhythm so you can move to the music, learn steps so you can dance to the music.
Those just starting out in dance as total beginners are so welcome. You will be surprised how much you can do when someone shows you how!
WHAT TO WEAR?
Wear something smart casual but comfortable. Make sure you can take something off when you warm up.
Shoes: ballroom /latin shoes are the best, however something comfortable that won’t slip off the back of your heel and that has a sole that can glide across the floor works too.
WEDDING DANCE
Private dance classes for couples, to prepare for their special first wedding day dance. I will help you feel comfortable on the dance floor when all eyes are on you. Let’s discuss what you would like to do and I will tailor a dance to suit your personalities and abilities – I will create a lovely wedding dance which you will remember for years to come.
Wedding couples are all so very different in their expectations from simple elegant dances requested right through to floorshows, including couple plus 11 Bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen! Yes – this is not a “typo”! Also very popular at the moment are daughter and dad routines or mum and son – these always bring happy tears to your guests.
Leading up to the special day is so hectic… give yourselves some time exclusively together, away from the preparations and learn something together…. just the two of you.

JAZZ BALLET
Jazz is a great workout to fabulous “feel good” music with fun and energetic dance moves. Yes, as the name states, there is a little ballet too which will help strengthen you further, gaining correct posture and flexibility.
A Jazz class always starts with warm ups followed by amazing controlled stretching appropriate to the level of the class. All exercises are explained and not just thrown at you. The class usually moves into progressions across the floor… what is this you ask? Progressions are travelling movements such as turning, kicking, jazz runs, leaps (within reason). The last 20 -30 minutes is spent on learning a dance routine which is fun and energetic or fun and theatrical.
WHAT TO WEAR?
Exercise, gym clothing that stretches and breathes. Appropriate jazz shoes or sneakers for jazz and tap shoes for tap. Please keep hair pulled back.
TAP DANCE
Noisy shoes and loose ankles makes for great sounds as performed by Gene Kelly and Fred Astaire.
Such a fun class to toe tapping music with rhythmical sounds, fabulous steps makes for a fantastic fun class. The class is structured and has a system which helps progress you and helps develop a strong tapping knowledge.

STRETCH CLASS ONLINE
The online stretch class is a class you can take from home. Yes, at home… you don’t have to travel anywhere! It's like a personal stretch class in your home.
You'll need a matt, a computer or ipad and a private space for you to enjoy stretching in at home - maybe your family may like to join in with you? I send you a zoom link and you click onto it – it's that easy. I'm there throughout watching everyone to assist in the correct way in which to do the exercises or to achieve more benefit from them.
These sessions are a wonderful way to start your day off or to simple stretch out in the middle of the day or before you go to bed. Different times available to zoom in on.

If you have never danced before but would like to, then simply call or fill in our Contact form. We offer absolute beginner classes as well as classes for those with experience. It is never too late to dance and everyone loves to move to music – it is sheer joy !!
Wedding Dance classes can be scheduled on most days at any location to suit couple.
